The Owners’ Favorite Meals:

Brian: A chicken sandwich, fries, and a diet Dr. Pepper.

Hollyn (me): A cool wrap with avocado lime ranch, a fruit cup, and a Dr. Pepper.

Camille: An 8 count chicken nuggets, fries, and a Dr. Pepper.

Leslie: A chicken sandwich, a fruit cup, and a Dr. Pepper.

After graduating from Auburn University, my parents moved to Hilton Head, South Carolina. While living there my dad, Brian Russell, opened his first Chick-Fil-A store. After owning that store, my dad was offered to run a Chick-Fil-A in Meridian, MS. Despite my mom’s initial refusal to move to Mississippi, my parents eventually decided that it would be a great place to raise a family. On January 1, 2003, my dad opened his second Chick-Fil-A store in Bonita Lakes Mall. After the great success of that store, Chick-Fil-A corporate headquarters decided to close the Chick-Fil-A in the mall and build a free standing store. On December 13, 2007, my dad opened his current store in the Meridian Crossroads. Since opening this Chick-Fil-A, my dad has won two back-to- back championship club awards at Chick-Fil-A’s annual seminar. In 2018, he became the number one seller of milkshakes in the chain and celebrated by giving away free milkshakes. My dad is also extremely proud of having one of the most efficient drive-thrus in the chain. One of his favorite memories is the time a customer brought a real cow through the drive-thru on Cow Appreciation Day. My family and I are very grateful to be a part of this incredible corporation.
