Reindeer Food Recipe

Author: Kaits Kerley

A common Christmas Eve tradition in most households is setting out milk and cookies for Santa. Children pour a cold glass of milk and set out warm cookies on their favorite Christmas plate and wait to see how hungry Santa was the next morning. However, just as Santa gets hungry delivering toys from door to door, reindeers do too. I hope this recipe helps you to prepare the perfect snack for Santa’s hardworking reindeer.

Directions

  1. Begin by gathering nine ziploc sandwich bags, 9 ribbons, and something to write on for each of the 9 bags.

  2. Open your ziploc bag and pour in ¾ tablespoons of uncooked oats in each of the 9 bags

  3. Pour in your choice of holiday sprinkles and glitter  into each bag

  4. Seal all nine bags tightly and shake them until evenly mixed

  5. After mixed, tie the perfect Christmas ribbon around the top

  6. Write the sweetest note to help the reindeers persevere through the rest of the night

  7. Lastly, wake up and see how Santa and the reindeers enjoyed the snacks you left for them!
