Elementary Fall Festival

If you thought Covid 19 would stop the elementary students from having their annual fall festival, you were wrong. On October 29th, Pre-K through 5th grade gathered in the old gym for fun games and fall snacks including the cake walk, bean bag races, and gone fishing. Of course, however, they did abide by the Covid- 19 safety rules that Lamar has implemented this school year. The parent volunteers and teachers, and assistants did an excellent job putting the fun-filled day together for the students. Although there were many changes this year to the festival, including the decision to eliminate the costume contest, and having the festival at night in the school’s hallways and grounds, happy times and memories were made among everyone alike.
