Lamar Alumnus Spotlight: Trey Long Class of 1994

Trey Long graduated from Lamar in 1994. While Trey was a student at Lamar, he was involved in clubs and teams such as the football team, the golf team, and baseball team. After graduating, he set off to the University of Mississippi to study business. He was a part of the Sigma Nu Fraternity, Delta Gamma Anchor Man, and Class Favorite. In 1997, Trey received his bachelor's degree in Business. While at Ole Miss, He met his future wife, Enley, and shortly after graduation, they moved back to Meridian with intentions of taking over the family business and starting their own family. The family business he worked for was Long Wholesale, who sold food to gas stations and other businesses located in Mississippi. In 2019, Trey took over the business from there. After 3 years of business, including the dreaded pandemic year, 2020, Trey sold the business to Grocery Supply Co. Now Trey is the owner of Long Cleaning Solutions and cleaning tough surfaces with his self made solution. Trey occupies his time by serving the Lord, taking care of his four children: Edie, Bell, Raif, and Francie, duck hunting, and red hatting football games at Ole Miss.
