What is the Best Valentine's Day Chocolate? - A Review
Author: Henley Woods
With Valentine's Day approaching, you want to make sure to get the best possible chocolate option for your Valentine. But…..what is the best chocolate?
To solve this situation, we conducted an In-Class taste test of classic Valentines Day chocolates.
This taste test consisted of four different chocolates. (Dove Hearts, Hershey’s Hearts, Turtles, and Kinder Buenos) We had six participating students all taste these chocolates, and here are the results:
Dove in last place, with a vote of 0/6 ( 0%)
Hershey’s Hearts in second place, with a vote of ⅙ (17.7%)
Turtles (valentines edition) with a vote of 2/6 (33.4%)
Kinder Bueno- winning amount of student votes, amounting to 3/6 (50%)
Dove Hearts (Last Place)
Despite the luxury milk chocolate taste Dove claims to have, many of our participating students preferred a more classic chocolate, leaving Dove Valentines edition hearts with zero votes.
Valentines Turtles (Third Place)
Turtle’s are a classic when it comes to Valentines Day treats, but the Valentines Day Edition are no different from the original, leaving them with two votes. If your valentine pecans and carmel, this is the perfect choice!
Hershey’s Hearts (Second Place)
Due to Hershey’s more classic taste, one of our participants considered it their favorite out of all four chocolates. But, the remaining five considered it boring, and not good enough to win their vote.
Kinder Valentines Day Chocolates
The Kinder chocolates were the winning Valentines day candy. They’re different than any other chocolates. When you bite into a bar it has a white milk center and a thin coating of chocolate. It's very creamy and rich tasting. The milk filling isn't white chocolate, it's more like a cream.
